When you connect a social media account, you grant SocialScheduler permission to post content, read analytics, and manage certain features on your behalf via OAuth 2.0. You can revoke this authorization at any time (see our Privacy Policy, Section 4.5).
5.2 YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO COMPLY WITH PLATFORM TERMS
By using SocialScheduler to post to any social media platform, you agree to comply with that platform's own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Advertising Policies. This includes but is not limited to:
- Meta's Terms of Service (Facebook and Instagram)
- YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- Pinterest's Terms of Service and Community Policy
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that all content you schedule and publish through SocialScheduler complies with each platform's rules.
5.3 PLATFORM API CHANGES AND OUTAGES
Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest) may change, restrict, or revoke API access at any time without notice to us. We are not liable for:
- (a)Failed or delayed posts caused by platform API outages, rate limits, or policy changes.
- (b)Loss of connected account access caused by a platform revoking OAuth tokens.
- (c)Changes to analytics data availability caused by platform API changes.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of known platform disruptions and to restore service as quickly as possible.
5.4 INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK REQUIREMENTS
Scheduling to Instagram requires an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported by Meta's API and cannot be connected.
5.5 PINTEREST TOKEN EXPIRY
Pinterest access tokens expire periodically and cannot currently be refreshed programmatically via Pinterest's API. You may need to reconnect your Pinterest account when your token expires. We will notify you when reconnection is required.
6. ACCEPTABLE USE — YOUR CONTENT OBLIGATIONS
6.1 CONTENT OWNERSHIP
You represent and warrant that you own, or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to publish all content (images, videos, captions, links) that you schedule through SocialScheduler.
6.2 PROHIBITED CONTENT
You must not use SocialScheduler to schedule, publish, or distribute any content that:
- (a)Violates any applicable law or regulation in India or the target platform's jurisdiction.
- (b)Infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, or other intellectual property right of any third party.

- (d)Constitutes spam — including bulk posting of repetitive, irrelevant, or unsolicited content.
- (e)Contains false, misleading, or deceptive information.
- (f)Promotes illegal activities, violence, or discrimination.
- (g)Violates the target social media platform's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
- (h)Contains malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
6.3 PROHIBITED PLATFORM USE
You must not use SocialScheduler to:
- (a)Artificially inflate follower counts, likes, comments, shares, or any other engagement metrics using bots, fake accounts, or automated services.
- (b)Circumvent any social media platform's rate limits, security measures, or API restrictions.
- (c)Scrape, harvest, or collect data from social media platforms beyond what is provided by their official APIs.
- (d)Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network.

- (f)Resell, sublicense, or commercialize access to SocialScheduler without our prior written consent.
- (g)Use the platform in any way that violates Meta's Platform Policy, YouTube's API Services Terms, or Pinterest's API Terms.
6.4 CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY
We do not review, monitor, or pre-approve content you schedule through SocialScheduler. You are solely responsible for all content you publish through our platform. - (b)You are responsible for ensuring that all workspace members comply with these Terms.
- (c)You must have the right to share any social media accounts you connect to a workspace with your team members.

Clients and Viewers in a workspace have read-only access to the dashboard and analytics. They cannot publish, schedule, or modify content unless assigned the appropriate role by the workspace owner.
7.4 SEAT LIMITS
The number of team members per workspace is subject to your subscription plan's allowance. Exceeding seat limits requires a plan upgrade.
8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND LIMITATIONS
8.1 UPTIME
We aim to provide a reliable and highly available service. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, and third-party dependencies (Supabase, Render, Cloudflare, social platform APIs) may cause temporary service interruptions.
8.2 POST DELIVERY GUARANTEE
We do not guarantee that every scheduled post will be published at the exact scheduled time. Factors outside our control — including social platform API outages, rate limits, token expiry, and media processing delays — may cause posts to be delayed or to fail.
We implement automatic retry logic for failed posts. You will be notified via email if a post fails after all retry attempts.
8.3 FREE PLAN LIMITATIONS
Free plan users are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time.
8.4 FAIR USE
We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that place unreasonably high loads on our infrastructure at any plan level.

9.2 YOUR CONTENT
You retain full ownership of all content you create and publish through SocialScheduler. By uploading content to our platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.
9.3 FEEDBACK
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about improving SocialScheduler, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use that feedback without any obligation to compensate you.
10. REFERRAL PROGRAM
10.1 By participating in our referral program, you agree to these Terms and any additional referral program terms posted on our website.
10.2 Referral rewards are credited only when the referred user successfully subscribes to a paid plan and payment is confirmed.
10.3 Referral rewards are non-transferable and have no cash value unless explicitly stated in the referral program terms.
10.4 We reserve the right to modify, pause, or terminate the referral program at any time with 14 days' notice.
10.5 Any attempt to abuse the referral program (creating fake accounts, self-referrals, fraudulent signups) will result in forfeiture of all referral earnings and may result in account termination.
10.6 Referral payouts are processed via the method specified in your referral wallet settings. We are not responsible for payout delays caused by incorrect payout details.

13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SocialScheduler, its founders, officers, employees, agents, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- (a)Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.

16.1 SocialScheduler may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites.
16.2 Your use of third-party services (Razorpay, Google, Meta, Pinterest) is governed by those services' own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them before connecting your accounts.
